TEARDOWN

Driven by understanding how things work, I perform product tear downs to understand mechanisms and assembly methods.

Utilizing what I learned from teardowns, I create several architecture concepts to understand scale, feasibility and any design limitations.

3D data

I build the final data using ProE/Creo, models are easily editable so I can create fast and feasible structures for prototyping and manufacturing. I consider part lines and tooling techniques to head off changes to the design intent during the engineering phase. I create intent documents to illustrate what is fixed versus flexible for communicating with external vendors.
